Grip plugs help protect the Biokork at the outside end of Ergon grips. If you lose the grip caps that came with SideStix, we recommend replacing them as soon as possible, otherwise the grips may become damaged.

The plugs don't stay in the grips. When I insert them, they wiggle around. If I give them a good shake, they literally fall out.

Hello Marilyn,
Thank you for your review! As we discussed in our emails, the Replacement Grip Plugs are designed to fit inside the aluminum grip tube, not the grips themselves. When we built your SideStix 9 years ago they were designed with shorter grip tubes and larger grip plugs. When we changed the design and made the grip tubes longer we sent grip tube extenders to you at no cost. With your most recent order we included an additional pair of replacement grip plugs at no cost. We also recommended a solution in the event that your grip tube extenders were no longer in your grips that you could wrap masking tape around the grip plugs to make the plugs larger.
If you would like to reach out to us we are happy to make more recommendations so we can find a solution.
Best,
The SideStix Team

Second day in already scratched up, showing they protect grip tube from damage and moisture. Sidestix brand plug fits best.
